Eric Gerencser is a survivor of three incidences of childhood cancer and the inspiration behind Early Recognition Is Critical. His journey is the reason E.R.I.C. was created, and his story continues to guide the organization’s mission of promoting early recognition, cancer education, and self-breast exam training worldwide.

Eric currently serves on the E.R.I.C. Board of Directors, helping support the organization’s continued growth and impact. He is also the President of Nationwide Auto Services, where he brings leadership, resilience, and a deep commitment to service into his professional work.

As both the namesake of E.R.I.C. and a lifelong example of strength, Eric represents the heart of the organization’s mission: turning personal experience into a movement that helps others in the fight against cancer.
